“The Emotions of Life Investigated – Depression is only an Emotion, not “who you are”“!
This article today is perhaps the most controversial subject that Psychegnosis News has reported on.
The Reason for this is that so many people have encountered it or know someone who has these extremely powerful Emotions.
Before starting today’s article it would be advantageous to review in detail the 1st 3 days of our article on Emotions.
Those fortunate to be participating in the 30 day programme are learning “who they are not” and this article will bring them closer to this important Truth.
We ask ALL our readers to use their knowledge of what the World believes and come and reason together.
We sincerely desire that ALL mankind can overcome the Epidemic of Depression that is a blight on society and is overwhelming the medical World.
Depression is treated as being “who we are”.
Depression is a symptom of a society that is totally obsessed with finding pleasure in everything they do.
We are fooled into believing that we need to be rich or good looking or successful to be someone or something.
The advertising around us in the media – movies – newspapers – magazines – radio – tv – advertising boards and from our fellow Human Beings are constantly telling us that we must “be more” or “have more” to be happy.
The facts are that it is easy to see why Depression is rampant because of this continuous barrage on our minds.
Our children are taught that they must be successful at their educational establishment or they will not be given material rewards.
We are told that our house our car our clothes our physical looks our age our whatever else you choose to mention is not good enough.
That you must not be satisfied with what you have – you must have more, more, more and even more.
It is simple to see why we have Depressed members of society in every home on the planet.
To have material wealth is not wrong, neither is it wrong to excel at school or at sports, it is only wrong if we Believe this success is “who we are”.
When we connect who we are to anything in the Physical World it is a recipe for Depression.
This connection is the problem.
This desire to please our Emotions is insatiable.
The Belief that we are who we think we are – does not Exist, so therefore it cannot be happy.
We are here in the Physical domain to Experience Life through our Emotions not to be controlled by our Emotions.
The need to be happy is something that will lead to pain in the mind as well as illness in our Physical bodies.
This pain is treated with drugs or therapy that tries to appease our Emotions but these treatments are only clouding the problem.
We are quite simply treating an Emotion that does not exist.
We must as an intelligent species begin to realise that we can overcome this Emotion by replacing our belief that we are our Thinking Minds.
When we do this we shall be FREE from the devastation of Depression.
