“WHY DO WE”? (DAY 4); Why do we constantly JUDGE Everything and Everybody?”
Our series on “WHY DO WE?” has information that looks at our behaviour in circumstances that arise in our every day lives where we react in ways we wish we had not.
These unwanted behaviours are constantly played out as if they have a mind of their own and in every circumstance they are not how we would have chosen to behave.
The fact is that they are acts of “insanity” that when looked at in the cold light of day are indeed INSANE.
The Thinking Mind at the particular moment we act out these “insane” behaviours tells us that we are correct to do so because it has convinced us that our actions are JUSTIFIED.
The reason we do such involuntary actions stem from our chosen outlook on LIFE and how we constantly JUDGE those who we associate with and our surroundings.
This JUDGEMENTAL attitude is prevalent in EVERY SOCIETY and EVERY COMMUNITY and is the reason we are not in control of our behaviours.
We JUDGE others by the so called PERFECT standards we have inherited from our ancestors or that we have gathered while we have been part of the PHYSICAL DOMAIN.
We JUDGE our way of LIFE as either being better or worse than those around us so that no matter what LIFE gives us we are NEVER happy about what we have.
We JUDGE EVERYBODY and EVERYTHING in an instant.
We JUDGE by our STANDARDS because the Thinking Mind can only SEE its own biased point of view.
We look for others around us who have the same JUDGEMENTAL attitude as we have so that we can JUSTIFY our “INSANITY.”
We search out those who have the same outlook as ourselves and become even more entrenched and even more JUDGEMENTAL about our fellow men and LIFE itself.
This CONSTANT JUDGING only confuses the REALITY that is ALL around us.
It leads to more and more INSANE behaviours as we try and come to terms with our CONFUSED conditions.
REALITY is then ignored completely as our actions become more INSANE by the day.
Eventually we are then completely alienated from the REALITY of LIFE and it effects our HEALTH both in a PHYSICAL and MENTAL manner.
The act of JUDGING is the pathway to UNREALITY.
To prevent being JUDGEMENTAL we must replace it with OBSERVANCE.
This is NOT easy if not impossible for those who BELIEVE their own STORY.
OBSERVANCE is taking in what we SEE by not JUDGING it with what we think is right or wrong.
OBSERVANCE then frees up LIFE to bring the LIGHT of REALITY into our nervous systems and magically we then SEE things as they “ARE” and NOT how thought they were.
Constant JUDGING is a learned behaviour which if we do not replace it with OBSERVANCE will destroy our lives and bring nothing but PAIN and CONFUSION.
So by NOT JUDGING we become FREE to enjoy ALL of LIFE and not just the instances our THINKING MIND decides is good or not.
So by NOT being JUDGEMENTAL we become FREE to enjoy the great DIVERSITY that life offers in other CULTURES and other people.
We are taken from the iron grip of the THINKING MIND and become FREE to be “who we TRULY are”.
Those who understand will understand. It is as it IS.
