“WHY DO WE”? (DAY 2);Why Do we LOVE someone one Moment and DESPISE them the next?
LOVE and HATE are exactly the same.
LOVE and HATE are based solely on EMOTION and have the same MOTIVATION behind them.
There are those who are reading this at this time who may object to such an explanation but be left in no doubt that both LOVE and HATE are the same EMOTION.
That is why our so-called LOVE can change in an instant to HATE.
TRUE LOVE which is not RELIANT on EMOTION will last forever while EMOTIONAL LOVE will die in an instant usually when things are not going their way.
To LOVE someone one moment and then change it to HATE the next moment is common in many RELATIONSHIPS.
It is no-ones fault because the LOVE they think they have is based solely on NEEDINESS.
It is also no-ones fault that they can change their so-called LOVE into HATRED at simple things like the way someone folds or not folds their towel.
We are afraid of our own reactions to the point where we simmer inside because those who we profess to LOVE have gone against our RULES for giving them LOVE.
We then decide to withdraw our LOVE unless the person changes to our way once more.
ALL EMOTIONAL LOVE is CONDITIONAL whereas TRUE LOVE is UNCONDITIONAL.
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE cannot be found in someone who believes they are their THINKING MIND.
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE cannot be understood by those who believe they are their THINKING MIND.
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE can only be understood when we REALISE “we are not” our THINKING MIND.
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE will become part of the lives of those who DECIDE to take part FULLY in the 30 DAY ADVENTURE on RELATIONSHIPS.
Parents who tell their children they LOVE them only at times they do what they ask of them are passing on CONDITIONAL LOVE.
Parents who show LOVE to their children at ALL times including the times they are NOT doing what are asked of them are showing UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
Husbands and wives who only tell their spouses that they LOVE them when their spouses are doing what the other spouse wishes them to do is only giving CONDITIONAL LOVE.
Husbands and wives who LOVE their spouses at times when they are not doing their wishes are showing UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
That is impossible say the teachings of Mankind how can you LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY?
It is not impossible, in fact, it is very simple.
When we realise that our children and our spouses are not who they THINK they are we can LOVE them no matter what they do.
Husbands and wives can have amazing RELATIONSHIPS every moment they are together if the principle of “they know not what they do” was understood within their RELATIONSHIPS.
This is the TRUE LOVE that JESUS CHRIST expressed while he was being berated and spat upon as he was being crucified.
He said the words above which were ; “FATHER forgive them for they know not what they do.”It is as it IS.
