One IDENTITY Day (23);PROCRASTINATION – the DANGER of EXPECTATION and Positive Thinking.
PROCRASTINATION as explained on DAY 22 has been a curse on Mankind since we learned to THINK.
PROCRASTINATION destroys every RELATIONSHIP we are in involved including the most important of them ALL – OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH OURSELVES.
Why is this?
The rise in SELF HELP books and the continuous flow of the INSANITY of POSITIVE THINKING literature is destroying the very essence of who we TRULY are and replacing it with GOAL setting that achieves nothing but dissatisfaction.
Every time we SET a GOAL that we believe will make us happy we CREATE an EXPECTATION EMOTION.
Every time we say that things will be better tomorrow we allow our THINKING MINDS to tell us that what we have right NOW is not good enough.
Every time we say that when our children grow up into another stage, LIFE will be better, we CREATE a new “STORY” of a FUTURE HAPPINESS which blocks out LIFE giving VIBRATIONS only available in PRESENT TIME.
Every time we relate that our HAPPY times will be when we RETIRE, GO ON HOLIDAY or any OTHER FUTURE activity we are CREATING VIBRATIONS that DESTROY our lives and those who we profess to LOVE.
Every time we JUDGE our PRESENT LIFE situation or RELATIONSHIP with a previous LIFE situation or RELATIONSHIP we take away the MAGIC and MIRACLE of the MOMENT we are living in.
Every time we RELATE having MORE MONEY, MORE FRIENDS, MORE MATERIAL STUFF, MORE INFORMATION or MORE of ANYTHING whatsoever we CREATE a “STORY” preventing us from having the HAPPINESS that we think we shall have from having MORE.
POSITIVE THINKING when connected to having more to be happy is a self made curse.
UNREAL EXPECTATIONS such as looking forward to FUTURE events or wishing that our PAST EXPERIENCE can be had once again before we are happy is the reason we have PROCRASTINATION.
The beauty of PRESENT TIME is that it needs NO EXPECTATIONS to bring about HAPPINESS.
The beauty of PRESENT TIME is that it requires NO EFFORT to do what we need to do.
The beauty of PRESENT TIME is that it EXISTS ALL THE TIME.
The DANGER of POSITIVE THINKING is that it DEPENDS on a FUTURE event to make us HAPPY or HAPPIER.
The DANGER of EXPECTATION is that it also DEPENDS on some FUTURE happening to bring about the HAPPINESS we BELIEVE will bring us HAPPINESS.
HAPPINESS and PEACE are not a DESTINATION and can only be had by ACCEPTANCE of what LIFE offers us that particular time.
To create “ONE IDENTITY” is ALL about ACCEPTANCE of what “IS”. It is as it “IS”.
