Relationships – The futility of our search for what True Love is and why it gives us so much pain?
The need to be loved is part of our make up in that it is an extremely powerful Emotion stored within our Cellular systems and as explained in previous articles as pieces of information that make up our Physical bodies.
To fully understand this article it is necessary to review the first four publications in this series on RELATIONSHIPS.
The investigation today takes us into the fantasy World that exists in the minds of almost every person that lives.
The fantasy we are talking about is our constant search for someone to Love and being Loved.
Love is an Emotion and is like any other Emotion is misunderstood as being “who we are”.
The fantasy that Love is the answer to our problems we have and will bring about Peace and Happiness are like any other dependence on an Emotion, a way to having more – pain and disillusionment.
This incessant need we have to love and to be loved is a dangerous game we play and always has the same end result – pain and disillusionment.
The Physical World perpetuates this lie by constantly reminding us in movies and in advertisements that we must be loved to be in love to become a REAL PERSON.
Our storybooks and History books tell us that to be loved and be in love is what life is all about.
The power of Love cannot be underestimated because it gives us such a wonderful feeling and when understood for what it IS will result in a TRANSFORMATION or as this newspaper calls TRANSMUTATION.
When we see that our World is not about being loved or having someone to love we are released from the fantasy World we believe to be “who we are”.
The love of the WORLD is being in love with an Emotion.
Pain and disillusionment is the result when we ALLOW any Emotion to be our JUDGE and JURY.
The Love that we seek will not bring about the Peace needed to have individual and Global change.
Let us ask ourselves the following Questions about the Emotion we call Love;
1) Do I realise that by allowing the Emotion of Love or any other Emotion to be who I think I am will eventually lead to pain and disillusionment?
2) When I give over my Life to following any Emotion do I realise that by doing so I allow myself to have no control over my behaviour?
3) When I see my Emotions as being only Emotions and do I feel in control?
The last Question is the key to understanding what Love really IS.

Love is probably the most misunderstood word in a human being’s life.
The reason for that is that we receive the greatest of all emotions when we feel loved.
We also get the biggest let down when we feel our Love is not returned.
The “illusion” is the only thing that loves both emotions.
The sense of elation or despondency are a strengthener to the “illusion”.
The question is what is the basis of this kind of Love?
When our love is connected with the compliance of whether our Love is returned with love, we have to ask, is this Love?
The Love that can hate one minute and then, when life supposedly goes their way once more, reverts back to Love, must be questioned.
Why?
Well it is based on what happens outwith themselves.
Every circumstance will be judged as either good or bad.
The bad means you give bad in return then when it’s good you give good in return.
This is the way of the “illusion” and some who read this will say that’s what they consider correct.
Thus a roller coaster of emotions or thoughts run throughout our whole nervous systems causing total mayhem.
What is the alternative, we ask?
Well PSYCHEGNOSIS explains that once again the “illusion” has led us to an eternal round of pain.
Again, as I write these words, I hear the “illusion” within the reader say “I’ve tried so hard to love and it just does not happen for long”.
The reason it cannot work for long is wrong because it never worked at all.
What does this mean?
It cannot last.
In fact it’s well known and unfortunately accepted that we will love and hate.
This I can tell you that when we understand the “illusion” and accept whom we are not, your life shall change.
