Religious or Spiritual – The Past, the Present and the Present.
Reading the previous 6 articles will give a better understanding of where we are in this series on Religion.
We are not discussing who is right or what way to a Supreme Being will Bring the most benefit to Mankind.
We are simply explaining the effects it has on Human thinking.
We at Psychegnosis News do not wish to demean any of the many ways that Mankind communicates with their Creator.
Past , Future and the Present are what we gauge in the Physical domain as Time.
Time is Important in the Physical World because it relates to a beginning and an end. It is the Birth and the Death and all things in between.
It gives us all a sense of where and when Events happen.
It is important only in the sense that it gives us pointers to where we are at any particular moment in time.
As individuals we would and could not Exist without our use of Time.
Time is constantly changing which seems an obvious thing to say but the relevance of the Statement will become evident as we go on.
The Past is gone and has only a bearing as a reference point and an indication of what has happened.
That it should be remembered for anything other than that is a dangerous game to play.
The reason being is that it will ruin our Present life and seriously effect our Future life.
The import of this in Religious terms is also dangerous.
The versions of History differs greatly depending on who is telling the “STORY”.
The happenings of Wars etc are so varied in who was at fault it is impossible to unravel what is fact and what is fiction.
The reporting of ALL history is biased.
That to gauge our Belief on what is History, is not a Wise thing to do.
If the Past is the basis of our Belief, can we be sure that we are not living another era’s time.
The Past was a Time that was other people’s, and was only relevant to those who lived at that Time.
It does not Exist anymore except in the minds of those of us who have decided to let it.
The Future has no relevance to the Past except that it can be a learning yardstick for not repeating the same mistakes.
Our Future is also not a Reality as it has not happened and dwelling on consequences or events that have not happened will again ruin our life in the Present.
Our Future depends on how we act in the Present.
Our actions are the only Reality that there is and are dependant on not dwelling on Past or Future Thoughts.
The beauty of this is that we are Free to choose how we will live.
The choice is ours completely.
In the Past there is only pain.
In the Future at best there is a false hope.
In the Present there is life and an opportunity to give the Future a better chance.
We are truly amazing Beings to have the opportunity to Live our lives.
To be able to be where we are and enjoy this wonderful World we have all around us.
If we dwell in the Past or in Future events we are losing out on this great adventure in the Present.
Let us ALL be aware of the Present and the folly of living in our Thinking Minds.
The mind is a communication link between the Past and the Future but the Present will give us Peace in this exact moment.
There is no chance of changing Past events or of having a wonderful Future if we do not choose the Present moment to Live.
PSYCHEGNOSIS has revealed that our Thinking Minds are “not who we are”.
That we shall only overcome our unhappiness when we Realise that “we are not” the events of the Past or the Future which has not happened.
