The question you ask is better answered by explaining how powerful our Sub-conscious is.
Our Sub-conscious controls our every day movements that we have.
They always remember what we have learned for example “how we drive a car etc”.
We never forget how we do this and many other routines that we need very little effort in doing.
They are ingrained into our Sub-conscious and we do a lot of these things by habit therefore we are not in as much control as we would like.
They are very powerful for one reason and that is – we allow them this power when we think they are who we are.
This thought process is the root of your finding yourself returning to your Thinking Mind.
You are still trying to and allowing the mind to control yourself because you are not yet convinced enough to let go – completely.
You must simply observe that you are falling back into the mode of being controlled by the Thinking Mind – no effort just observance.
Life will take control of things from there on in and will give you the peace that frees you and all of mankind from our thinking mind.
